London Craft Week

We were asked to work alongside Grosvenor and London Craft Week to curate the Light Switch on launch of Tom Raffields installation. As a major sponsor of London Craft Week, The Grosvenor Series gives the public a glimpse behind the scene of London’sartisanal craftmen through a collection of events. Commissioned by Grosvenor, Tom Raffield’s sculpture steam-bent light forms cover the Trees of Orange Square, creating an installation which highlights the skills an traditional manufacturing techniques employed by Tom and his team. Our teams worked on the Creative Production, Event Design and Technical production through to Event Health & Safety, Licensing and Event Applications to create an event that celebrated the launch of the Light Installation for London Craft Week.

The event on 3rd May included a drinks reception and canapes followed by speeches from Katherine Samuels and finishing with a Q&A session with Grant Gibson from Crafts Magazine and the artists. Tom Raffield was commissions to provide a lighting installation in a selection of tree in Orange Square, an outdoor triangular open space in London Borough of Westminster.
