Elizabeth Street: Father Christmas in Residence

Grosvenor Britain & Ireland’s mission is to create and recreate inspiring places and neighbourhoods, delivering value for customers, shareholders and co-investors with its place-making expertise.

It owns, develops and manages a diverse property portfolio in cities across Britain and Ireland. Business units are focused on its London estate, comprising 300 acres of Mayfair and Belgravia in the heart of the UK’s capital, and developments elsewhere in London, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Oxford, Cambridge and Southampton.

Grosvenor were looking to create a luxury and bespoke “Father Christmas in Residence” for visitors in the lead-up to Christmas. This experience sought to be both immersive and sharable to ensure talk-ability and spike media interest during and after its activation. We were asked to create and manage Belgravia’s first Father Christmas in Residence.

Collaboration with local luxury bakery Peggy Porschen

An empty NatWest unit was transformed over two days to create an immersive Christmas Experience.

This included a North Pole inspired interactive walkway, luxurious festive living room where children had their picture with Santa and were then read a Christmas story. Each child also went home with a gingerbread from local bakery Peggy Porschen.

The event was extremely popular with residents and visitors, also gaining coverage from Huffington Lifestyle, Countrylife, Event Brite, Little London, Wandermum and Breaking Travel News.
