Islington Square

Everything happens at the Islington Square Festival of Culture. Islington Square is a 4.5 acre mixed-use regeneration project transforming the former North London Mail Centre into a new place to live, shop and spend time.

The Festival of Culture was a spectacular event hosted by Islington Square in celebration of history, culture, family and the future. In association with Redleaf Communications, The Fair were approached to produce a full Festival including the following programme: International Live Music Acts and buskers, Pop up cinema, Community Gardening workshop, Street Food Market, Theatre and Dance performances, Children’s entertainment, Spectacular video mapping display.

Challenge

To produce a festival in an in use construction site including licensing.

To adhere to site rules of an operational construction site.

Work closely with the local authorities and residents to minimise public disturbance.

Manage the entire festival delivery inc Health and Safety.
